Well...he got HALF of what he deserved. 20 years for 2 lives? Not even near enough time.

With good behavior, he will be out in less than five.

Meanwhile, someone down the street was found with a bag of crack in his pocket, will do more time behind bars than the dude that killed the bikers... WTF is going on in this country???

No amount of punishment is enough. The lives he took, and the loves ones that lost, can never be replaced. If he were tortued to the point where his body gave up the will to go on living because it could not endure a moment more of the pain MIGHT be a little close. But still not enough.

I would hope that my life is worth more than 10 years if someone killed me.

Lawmakers drive like idiots too. They aren't gonna pass a law that has strick penalties for killing someone by motor vehicle.

Ain't that the truth. I'm kinda surprised that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

Agreed. Seems like all too often these days parents try to shield their kids from responsibility for their actions, rather than to encourage them to take that responsibility.

Too bad it appears he failed to pass those values on...
