help me decide between 2 bikes
2004 Dyna Low Rider with 12,000 miles
1994 Fatboy with 29,000 miles
Both bikes are the same price. I have ridden both in the past and really like both bikes but if i had to decide I would go with the ride and feel of a fatboy. That being said I am looking at two bikes that are the same price. Am I crazy for going with an older bike? Both are in excellent shape. The fatboy has 6 speed upgrade. While I do like the fatboys better, the bike is 10 years older with more miles. Its really a coin toss for me and I just can't make up my mind.

I have seen and ridden both. Condition wise they are both the same. While the fatboy is a 1994 it has been well taken care of. Both bikes are in perfect condition. Chickin..I havent flipped one yet but I'm close.

You said you like the look and feel of the Fatboy better.
Age of bike should not be a concern here.
Fatboy will have the better engine...an Evo....often said to be the best Harley engine ever made.
Make your decision on the chassis/model of bike, not on the age.

Age and miles don't matter on either.
Personally, I'd rather have an Evo than a TC, and I'd rather have a Dyna than a softail.
Actually, I'd rather have an Evo FXR, and I do.

Also my wife and I plan on taking some longer road trips together on the bike so that also plays into it. In the past I have stayed around town. I have never done any 5+ hour trips. Would one be better than the other?
