Warm up bike?

Welcome to the forum! The Powers That Be may end up moving your thread but I'm sure you'll get some pretty varied answers to this question, so I can only give you my opinion
I'm coming at this from carbed bikes, I just recently purchased my first FI Harley but my habit is to not ride until the bike has settled into the idle, on the FI Wide Glide once the idle has dropped from the high idle to the 1k plus or minus I'll let her warm up, just takes 2-3 minutes or so depending on air temperatures. On a carb bike I'd wait until I could ride without any enricher or with just a touch on, again just a couple of minutes is all it took...either way if you allow a warm up or not, don't run the bike hard until it's completely warmed up...

I'm in Minn so we get temps like you canuks,,
I wait only a few minutes when it's cold,, 2-3 max.
By the time 3 minutes have passed you could have been on the road for a minute.
I'll start it, zip up the coat,, put the gloves on,, maybe light a smoke.
All I want is the oil to get up there and moving proper,, don't take much.

I will ride in temps which are above 32*F I do a rolling warmup, it takes about 2-3 minutes to get to the first traffic light leading out of the area I live in, I just let the bike idle while rolling to the light. I don't do any hard excelling until the engine is fully warmed up and that depends on ambient temperatures.
