Default Cleaning windshield

I have recently purchased a Batwing Fairing and the windshield has glue still on it from the protective plastic that was on it. Curious of the best way to clean it off without scratching the windahield.

Not sure if this will help ya or not but it did me. One time I had some sticky stuff that I wanted to take off my Jeep and I used my ex's hairdryer. All I did was use the hair dryer to heat up the sticky stuff just enough so all I had to do was use my fingers to roll it up and peel if off, worked for me anyway.

'Goo Gone' will remove the glue. It is compatible with most surfaces, including (if my memory serves me correctly), plastic windshields.

if it a HD shield it will have a protective coating on the Shield itself. Be careful as what you you use to clean it with as it can mess up that coating that could start peeling off and not look good.

you can not use any product with acetone or alcohol in it... silicone based products are fine... alcohol and acetone will spider web it... in all honesty just use water and microfiber but pledge works great too!!! DO NOT USE RAIN EX

My suggestion would be to call the manufacturer and see what they recommend, no doubt they have probably heard this question before. Save yourself some time and aggravation and give them a call. You'll be glad you did.
