Where did you buy your favorite jacket?

Not to thread crap but even though your Made in the USA tag may lead you to believe that it is most likely only assembled in the USA. Most if not all textile mills have moved offshore long ago. And that nice leather jacket did not come from a American cow. Most raw/tanned leather comes from overseas also.
And even if it was not "Made in the USA" it still supports a local store, the trucking company that shipped it and the dock worker that unloaded it.

I get the feeling that you are rationalizing buying foreign when American made products are available. IMHO, buying a jacket that may or may not have some foreign leather but is produced, assembled & sold in the USA will always win out over Chinese crap. I am a Fox Creek customer for that reason. If you can put money ahead of principle, you have no principles (unless you are poor).
Not rationalizing. Just pointing out that many people are delusional when making purchases. Our economy and taxes have forced most manufactures off shore. Try buying anything electronic Made In the USA. Our beloved MoCo uses so many parts made off shore the whole American company is in name only.
Always buy the quality you can afford. But many items made in other countries can be of quality also.
Remember the crappy cars from the late 70s and early 80s? Those were made by Americans in American factories.
