Can you see me now??
I'm working my way up from the bottom in converting to LED.
In the attached picture:
- HD LED crash bar mounted fog lights
- Custom Dynamics Amber LED fender tip lamp replacement shining through HD smoked lens
- Custom Dynamics LED Rings replacement inserts for the factory bullet turn signals. Bright outer ring of white LEDs in run mode, center Amber LEDs for turn signal.
Note: I did not install a load balancer. When I first installed them and turned on the turn signals, they blinked normal then went fast. After playing with the turn signal, and flashers in no real method...they now flash normally
- spot/passing lights are stock...but soon to update with Cyron 881 replacement LED.
- headlight is the dual halogen HD headlight, that allows the high and low beam to come on together.
- Kurykan adapter harness that allows the spots to be on with the high beam.
- not sure yet...but probably put the old single lamp headlight back, and install the Cyron H4 LED. Maybe I'll experiment with the dual bulb one, and see if I can adapt it to take the H4 Cyron LED.
Picture is with everything on.
If you click the attachment, the picture should orient correctly.???

Yeah...and I'm amazed despite all the publicity how many people I see driving with their head down looking at phones. This should be treated equivalent to someone aiming a deadly weapon at you...as they are...and should be able to give them a warning shot.

Looks great! That is my winter project this year, both front and back. I want my bike to look like a 747 coming down the road.
Now, as far as blinding StoneyFatBoys, well if they are aimed properly everyone can see better and be happy. I will aim the driving lights to cover the ditches on each side of the road to try to give myself a bit of reaction time against the rats in the woods. I am working out a plan for controlling the driving lights separately, so that I can shut down the left one when oncoming traffic approaches, but the right one will still be illuminating the ditch on the right. You can have a ton of lights and still be considerate of other road users, but riding at night is dicey on a bike and I want to have every advantage I can.
