Default Helmets and prescription glasses

How do those of you who must wear glasses to drive manage your eye glasses and the wearing of the helmet I know this seems like a silly question but I can't get the right combination going thanks

When I went to a modular helmet, it solved all the problems. I put on my glasses, I open the front and put on my helmet, done.

When I wore a regular full coverage, I put on the helmet first, then opened the visor, and worked my glasses on through the opening. That was a lot tougher. I could only wear glasses with pretty flexible sidepieces.

Same here, modular helmets make wearing glasses work. I like the type with the built in sun visor and then I tape off the top edge of the face shield and the sun visor.

One of the big reasons I stopped wearing a full coverage helmet 25 years ago. I'm so nearsighted that if I set my glasses down to put on the helmet, I have to get another pair of glasses to find the first pair.

Specialized motorcycle prescription glasses are out of the question, as none of them I've looked at are available in the correction I would need.

Windshield, half helmet, glasses with clip on sunglasses.

Default Been there

Totally get the frustration. I wear a full helmet when it is cool out, or in heavy traffic or expect to be doing long highway stretches. Other wise I wear a half helmet. With the half helmet I wear RX Wiley glass googles and love them, but they are night/day and with a full helmet they do not darken under the shield. So, I find my regular RX sunglasses work fine with the full helmet and my RX *****'s work great if I don't need them to darken at night. Someone else noted that with most full helmets you will want glasses that have narrow ear pieces. It is difficult if you need reading glasses like I do. I like to see a sharp image when looking down at my gauges. Very few motorcycle goggles or glasses offer a progressive lens, so that is a never ending battle.

Default Glasses

I have two solutions that work well for me. First I have a pair of goggles with prescription lenses and they have a magnet on the nose bridge so they are easy to put on and I wear them with my half helmet. Second, I have a 3/4 helmet that has a sunshade and it covers my glasses plus it has a clear full face shield and it is great in the rain.

I wear 3/4 helmets with my glasses, no problems. The helmet keeps the glasses from blowing off too.

Modular. Schuberth to be exact; quiet, light, saves eyes & face and expensive...

Lasik was the best solution I found. Best money I've ever spent.
