Default Using S-100 to clean your bike.

I have used S-100 in the past to clean my bike and it seems to work great.

However, I have never used it to clean oil off the engine.

When I changed the oil filter, some oil leaked off the towels and on to the engine and frame.

Can I spray that on there and get it to come off or should I use an engine de-greaser such as GUNK!

Brake Cleaner works well. Spray it on, drips\runs\dissolves the oil off and dries quickly with no residue.

That's what I use, and then when the jobs done spray some silicone, or Pig Spit, or S-100 engine brightener.

I have used S-100 for the same oil drip you are talking about and it worked fine as long as its a small amount of oil. If there was a lot of oil I would use something else.
Never thought of using brake cleaner, but wouldn't that harm your motor mount if it gets on the rubber?

I use the S100 once or twice a year to clean the oil of the engine of my old Softail...works wonders. Just spray on and hose off. Comes out brand new.

I used S-100 on my progressive 970 shock and it turned the gloss black spring to a flat black. F'k. It was the first time I used it on my shocks, never had a problem using it before

Did you give it a good rinse? If you don't use a strong steady stream to rinse that sh*t off it will leave a residue on the surface

Edit- spelling error
