Default Shipping companies?

I have a bike to be shipped from Atlanta GA to Albany NY. Can anyone suggest a reputable company to pack it up and ship to here?

Thanks in advance!

Most moving companies will ship bikes. Not much to packing one up.They usually ask that you lower the fuel level under a 1/4 tank and then they put bike on a skid, strap it down and ship it.I have had two bikes shipped. They came out in a box truck with a lift gate, put bike on gate ,raised it up to bed and then pushed it on a skid and secured it.It then went to their warehouse and off loaded by a forklift awaiting truck to take to destination warehouse where again it was put on a box truck with a lift gate and delivered to me.Never any damage done and always took 4-5 weeks to get bike to destination.

Call haul bikes or check their site. Www.haulbikes.com

I used them this last summer. Moved my mint condition Heritage from Denver Colorado to central Florida. $500.00 bucks. Took about three weeks due cheap price if I did not mind the wait. They use a motorcycle specific semi trailer. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I even met my driver Sam who drove it here. He carried his Road King with him. When he got to my new home, he invited me into the trailer to watch him unload my bike.

I used Federal Motorcycle transport about 5 years ago to ship my Fatboy from Cali to NY. I'd recommend.

I'm glad to hear you had good luck with HAUL BIKES because I think you are in the minority. I just shipped a Road Glide and did extensive research on bike haulers and after talking to a few people and looked at their reviews scratched them off my list of considerations.
I ended up hiring an independent person with an enclosed 20' trailer and had it done for a lot less $ and no aggravation

There'll be a lot of guys heading home from Daytona in the next week. You might find one ( through a friend ) interested in helping you ???

Default Shipper

I use Keyboard Shipping every year. Ship from FL to CO.
Nice people, good service
Meet the driver at a scheduled time. Watch / participate in strapping the bike to a pallet. Watch it loaded into the trailer.
They call you a few days in advance to schedule pick up & delivery.
I paid $ 650 each way.
Because I'm shipping to the west during the summer season (i.e. Sturgis), their timing is maybe a little longer (3 weeks). I guess in normal seasons, may be quicker.
I highly recommend them & I don't even research the others.
