I have a 2007 Street Glide, and it pains me to have to spend 1000 plus dollars for a HD Smart alarm for it...

I have done some research on the Alarm in the title, Has anyone else on here had any experience with these alarms??

It cost about 500$ here in Canada but can also be installed by myselfan HD wiring harness that will plug directly into the harley wiring no splicing to be done at all. Which would save the addition 500$ in labour and parts costs.

Being this is your first post I doubt you are going to get much response (positive) since most on here will be thinking that you joined only to push your product.

Push a product ?... I was just asking a question in general. Yes I'm an owner of a 07 Street Glide that came without an alarm system on it. I've done some research on the Scorpio SR-i900 and was asking if anyone in the HD Groups had any experience with this alarm system. the Harley Davidson alarm system for my 07 cost 350$ plus 150$ for a Roll-over switch, and then the install and programming of the FOB coming in to close to 1000$ total. was looking for an alternative alarm system that used a wiring harness and didnt require splicing. this Scorpio system will cost me 430$ Cdn and I can install it myself.
