Default Safe engine cleaner/degreaser

I own a 2007 Super Glide Custom with the silver aluminum engine and am wanting to do some deep cleaning and remove a couple of stains but I'm afraid to use just any engine cleaner. I'm hoping you guys can point me in the right direction by telling me what you have used & use in the past, present, and future that cleans & degreases without causing any damage to block, chrome, rubber, etc., ect... Please & thank you.

I had good results with Oil Eater Orange. Cant seem to find that brand anymore though and other brands dont seem to work as well.

Kerosene in a garden sprayer is past tech.
Gunk Engine Brite is ok but a lot swear by S100.
Mine seldom gets dirty or oily, at most an engine wash with Dawn and a sudsy mit is enough.
Between washes, Adams detailer and microfiber cloth.

Been using it for 40 years. Works great and it's cheaper than the tutti-fruity gourmet cleaners.

That's what I've been using with a brush to get into some of the gunk. Works well for me.
