Summer is here the temp was 97 and the heat index is 105.. I rode about 90 miles on I 40 and it is like standing in front of a pizza oven .. Went down by the river and it was much cooler for sure.

 

Beats winter any day, I can take the heat far better than the snow and cold

 

It sure is. Good thing I installed a crotch cooler on my wife's trike. That thing is like magic!

 

Definitely..."saucy crotch" weather - keep hydrated!

 

Riding this time of year is definitely better in the morning.

Dryer too! The summer afternoon rains have arrived.

 

I prefer the warmer weather for riding too. But any day I can ride is a good day.

 

I plan to head out very early tomorrow morning. Heat index here right now is 109.
