My horn sort of died, I just got a cheap horn from an auto parts place, fits fine, works great.

Go to Advance Auto and get a FIAMM Freeway Blaster Low tone
(F 72112) for around $15.

I took the HD "Premium Air Horn" route on my RK Classic. In addition to the horn you have to get the wiring harness specific to your bike. After you have all the parts you are pushing $200 for a horn made out of chromed plastic which isloud, butnot as loud as some of the other horns out there and it has a "monotone" big boat horn sound.

When it came time to upgrade the wife'sBoulevard with a new horn I saw mention of a Stebel horn on some of the Suzuki forums. Below is a link to a page with several horn options and I picked the "Nautilus Compact Chrome" horn for $45. It even came with a relay and a "wiringkit" to wire it in and was pretty easy to install.

They weren't kiddingabout it being loud! Now herhorn is louder than mine and she has already put a few cages back into their lane. The Stebel, although the same size & basic design as my HD horn, has two chambers for sound so it sounds like an 18 wheeler and not a big boat.

I put a low-tone Fiamm Freeway Blaster behind the stock cowbell cover, and a hi-tone FB behind the right saddle bag. With a relay it all cost me about $40. Hit the button on those babies& itjerks the soccer moms right out of their cellphone-induced fog and gets their mind right.

At 132dB they're a lot louder than the majority of the "motorcycle" air horns that cost three times as much...

Sorry my post left out the cowbell part of your question.

The FIAMM Freeway Blasterdoes in fact fit just like the stock horn behind the cowbell.

On my '06 it was just remove the cowbell, disconnect the 2 wires, remove old horn, put in new horn, re-connect the 2 wires, and reattach.

Some wiring came with the new horn but it wasn't needed.
