anyone know anything about a buell S3
Hey guys,
I'm gonna go look at a Buell S3 this afternoon that is for sale locally. It has 13k miles on it and the price seems reasonable. Do you guys know anything about them? I know it has a sportster 1200 engine but other than that I'm lost. I'm looking for something a little more nimble/lighter weight to ride around town on occasion. Thanks.

sigh.
it's NOT the sportster engine. Is it based on a sporty evo? Sure. about 3% of it is the same... namely the cases, pretty much. The rest of it is all Eirik Buell. Awesome bike, btw. Blast to ride

Thanks guys.
I went and looked at it. The bike was in a little worse shape than described. It has a crack in the upper fairing and some scratches on it so the bike will need to be painted. Other than that everything works but the back brake takes considerable pressure to work(may have to replace the caliper). Somebody better call a cop because I think I stole it. It has just over 15k miles and I got it for $1900.
