It is probably hard to weld with your eyes all squinted up.

Or maybe that it is a prototype as opposed to a production bike.

One would think, that since it's a show, or an unveiling of some sort, they might take extra time to make it look real nice. Perhaps my logic is flawed.

Even more reason to have it perfect!

I thought the same thing but for the first unavailing I wouldn't show something done that poorly. I also took a look at the Raider & the welds on it were pretty poor too but not nearly as bad as the Fury. I think the welder left some skin under the paint.

Honda makes some pretty good products...have owned a Honda CRV and it was a great car. But their bikes leave a lot to be desired. Standing alone the VTX looks pretty good but if you sit a Harley side by side then the Honda bikes look kinda cheap. There is just something about their styling that doesn't go IMO. The engines they make are very good but the rest of the bike looks like a conglomeration of the styling of about 3 different brands.

So they really don't have their own identity with any of their bikes except maybe the Goldwing. Back in the 1970's they had a definite look of their own but they have lost that now. JMHO.
