The helmet my wife picked out was the H-D with the flip up faceshield. Today while riding the left side nylon nut or screw came loose and fell off. The face shield then started to flap in the breeze.

Does any one know of replacement hardware?

Harley sells a repair kit for the helmets that includes these parts.

 

Any shop that carries the HJC helmets will probably have the hardware. HJC makes the Harley flip-up.

 

This happened to me too. If all you ned is the screw, then just ask the clothing sales people if they have any extras. My dealer had some stuffed in a drawer, and gave them to me for FREE!!!!

 

The helmet was new back Sept 21 2005. Now the dealer does not have a single one like it on the shelf. I think this model is discontinued. The triangle wedge shaped trim and screw or nut is missing. The dealership has to call it in tomorrow, they think they can get the parts to fix it!
