Default Hill Country Customs 16" Bagger Apes

Picked up my Street Glide last night from HCC in Spicewood Texas. They put 16" bagger apes with chrome controls on my bike. Looks great. They have been really great to work with. I give them a thumbs up....

How are their labor rates and how long did they have to keep the bike?

As far as the labor rates are concerned, I feel as though they were very reasonable. Call Robert at 512-264-1050. They kept my bike most of the week, however, most of this was due to me. I dropped the bike off on Monday afternoon after the Lone Star Ralley. Infact they had only been there about 20 minutes when I arrived. They would not be starting on it until Tuesday. Once I got home, I realized I still had the keys in my pocket. They would need these to remove the ignition switch. I then had to UPS the keys to them which they recieved on Wednesday. On Tuesday afternoon I remembered to call them about a rear tire that they did not have in stock. I picked my bike up on Friday afternoon with the new tire installed. Therefore, I guess I would say they actually only had my bike for four working days, but some of that was due to me. I was quite impressed with these guys. I would recommend them.

if they didn't get the keys till some point on Wednesday whenever UPS got there they really only had the bike like 2 working days since you did pick up on Friday afternoon they probably didn't start work till some point Wednesday afternoon and it also sounds like you told them you weren't horribly rushed to pick the bike up so they are going to take the time you give them. I run a retail auto tire store and when people tell me they can leave a car till 530pm and they are dropping it off at 8am some times it does not get worked on till 3pm if the day if busy. Sounds like they did the work in a favorable amount of time but most importantly is that you the customer were satisfied with the work and time frame. Glad to hear you like the quality of their product too I am going to be ordering some 18" bars from them in the spring for my '08 fatboy with the stainless cables and chrome controls can't wait.
