I have been hearing about this and other books on these forums, so I got Sonny Barger's book "Hells Angel". What a great read it was.
I think I will be picking up his other writings.

 

I live in real life. If it isn't on TV I'm not inclined to see it. TV is real life...right? lol

He also has two "fiction" books that are pretty good. Not a bad author.

 

I thought it was okay but I took it with a grain of salt. I have read one of his other books and it was just okay. He made some money selling his books---I wonder if anyone would have predicted that fifty years ago?

 

Think he had a co-author on his projects but I agree with oldairboater that it should be taken with a grain of salt - he's not lettin out any secrets. Also, Cowpokey - you do know Harry Potter isn't real though - right??

Caught his act in Sturgis this year then again in Boise Id. making alot of bucks doing book signings. As oldairboater said. Who woulda guessed that 50 years ago.

 

Guess he's been rehabilitated after all that time in prison. Not saying he's stupid but who would have thought you could be a book author with only a grade 9 education, I think he had some help from a professional ghost writer/editor.

 

I don't know, I have read some of his writings and thought they were pretty lame. Haven't read the book the OP mentions though.
