Being educated will always get you the best rate. Dealers will give you a number, its your job to know if its a good one or not. Also the rate is negotiable just like the bike. If you know what the lowest rate you can get before going in, you will always have the upper hand. A couple times I have had dealers quote me 3 or 4 points higher than I knew I could already get. Sometimes they have been able to beat the best rate. Just know the best you can get with YOUR credit.
