Oil change before or after storage?
I have always done the change right before winter. I dont want all the junk settling down in the bottom after sitting. Just seems like good sense to store it with clean oil.
Condensation build up with temp changes in an unheated garage. Change it again in the spring? Seems like a waste. Cant be much in there and seems like it would burn out once you ride it.
Thoughts?

I ride into the garage during the last ride of the season and pull all the drain plugs while she's good and hot. Leave her overnight and put the new filter and fluids in the next day. Have a heated garage so I don't worry about condensation. Ready to go in the spring!

I've always been of the same thought. Change all the fluids, fresh tank of gas w/stabilizer, give her a good wash, battery tender and cover with a good breathable cover. Nighty night... See you in a few months....
