Default 05 Road King

So this guy here is offering up an 05 Road King with 20 k on the clock, it's black (of course) and has not been garaged much if at all.

He's asking $9,500.

What are these going for?

Not heavy on accessories, rear tire new front original.

Based upon resales in Central Florida, I think he is a little high but not much. I would think if he dropped $1k it would be a deal.

That's about what I paid for my 01 a couple of weeks ago. It was chromed out though, but you usually don't get customized money back. There were a few newer ones cheaper, just not as nice, and more miles.

Gatorlaw...I'm jealous of your bike !!

I've been looking almost everyday on craigs list in NJ/NY area for road kings. They've all been in the 8 to 12 K range no matter what year. Quite a few of mid 2000 s were around 9500.

For that money, I would look at something that has been stored inside.
Have seen some nice bikes in NH for under 10K, with low miles.

Looks like I'll be keeping my 05 Road King, because I would never sell it for that.

Thinking she low miles and almost stock, but has faded paint, some rust, probably needs new tires and brakes. Battery ????

$$$ all pends on HOW rough she is..

Around here that's not too bad of price, but different parts of the country get different prices. Here in IND, bike prices goes down as winter gets closer.

She needs a new front tire. That's too old.

Just did the same thing a couple weeks ago. Drive 100 miles, and learn, "the picture was taken 4 years ago". There was a REALLY nice Classic in Long Island ?

Didn't mean to jack yoour thread.

Low balled him at 65 because of condition expecting a counter around 85. Nope! 95 or nothing.

Moving on.

I'm just about done with an '04 that I'll let go for about 10K. let me know if interested

95", fat spoke 21", RK Custom bags, reinharts, fat beach bars, black denim, progressives 12" rear, monotube 1" lower front, chrome front end, quick release baggage and backrest. Just shy of 20K miles

bike was COMPLETELY gone through over the last 3 months
