Default Twin Cam Hydraulic Cam Conversion Kit

I seem to recall someone was offering a kit to update the cam tensioners that included everything AND the tools for the bearings. I can't find it with the search, are these kits still available?

Thanks,
Chrome...

When I did my build a couple of years ago, the best kit available was from Herko but he's not selling them any more, and I'm not sure if Andrews still sells the coversion kits. You could buy all the 96" parts from Harley, but you'd have to buy one Andrews N cams to fit it, or you could buy the Screamin' Eagle conversion kit which will let you keep the 88" type cams. I bought the bearing tools from George's garage.

Fuel moto sells a full kit. And go with cams it's worth the money... I recommend Andrews 21 or 26 cams

When doing the conversion, make sure the kit comes with roller chains for both sides of the cam plate. HD's conversion kit only has the roller chain on the outside, not the inside. Wood Carbs kit replaces both chains with roller chains.

I installed the Andrews kit on my 03 FXDL. It comes with the plate, cams that you choose, and a new oil pump. I think I paid about $700 for the whole kit I figured I would do the bearings at the same time, since some have had trouble with them. I bought the bearing installer off of eBay, but borrowed the bearing puller from Autozone. I did it a month after buying the bike, using only the service manual and videos off of YouTube. I'm not a mechanic, but if you have any mechanical ability, there's enough help out there to get you through it.

I did the conversion on my 06 FATBOY & used the Andrews 21-N cam. I can send you a complete parts list if you want. All parts can be purchased at Lakeshore for about 20% off. I found best price on the camshafts at Amazon

I did my cam conversion on my 06 Heritage Classic. I went with woods conversion kit it comes with everything you need for a complete conversion change inner and outer roller chain oil pump cam plate all bearings, seals and gaskets that are required. It was $620.00 and I used woods cam the TW555 R which was another $390.00
