Gonna go with a conversion of my 05 roller cams to the newer hydraulic style. Andrews makes a kit, Harley now makes a kit and I just saw that Woods does too. Which one?
No real opinion here on which kit, but I just did a cam swap this weekend and my hydraulic tensioners ('07 RK) had virtually no wear on them after 12000 miles. I wouldn't be surprised if they go 100k.
Believe WOODS products are made by ANDREWS. Im sure they grind his cams, with his specs. Regardless, go with the WOODS product. This guy is a pioneer in engineering, and really knows his stuff.

Buy the HD kit and forget about the Andrews alternative. The HD kit allows you to use any cam that will work in a pre-'07 Touring bike. The Andrews kit limits you to cams ground to work with it.

The ANDREWS KIT limits you to cams that WORK+PERFORM which is what were looking for. Is that what you meant to say PINGMAN.

Did you drink some Alabama Kool-Aid today? The guy is asking about buying a chain tensioner system (Andrews) that is supported by relatively few cams in the market. If he buys the HD new, '07 style tensioner/billet cam plate/high volume oil pump piece that HD just introduced, he can choose from a far greater selection of cams (Wood included).
