Ive been looking for this particular jacket for some time now. Finally got it. Hard to find the made in USA HD Jackets, I got this one for cheap too :-)

Nice. I refuse to buy "An American Legend" made in China. A vintage jacket like that is really special. Looks cool too.

That's my style of jacket too,except that #1 emblem always make me think "Evil Knievel" . I'd wear it though!

 

I've always wondered why with HD's buying power and or capital why they couldn't contract a US leather manufacturer do produce a decent product. Just like the US Govt is required by law to produce all military uniforms and combat gear in the US I would think HD would want the same thing.

To answer my own question I guess if the imported stuff produced in sweat shops is moving like hot cakes why bother.

There's just something so fundamentally wrong with a HD product being made in a communist country.

 

Great! Mission accomplished. The #1 logo was really popular when I was into bikes in 70s. I really liked it too. But I got the eagle with it's wings up, tattooed on my left bicep.

 

I found a made in U.S.A. motor-clothes tank for the girl friend at the dealership the other day. It cost the same as the made in china garbage.

Nice find on the jacket. Is there a reason some jackets don't have a collar like that, other than fashion I mean?
