Wanting to pick up a new vest and stuck between Foxcreek or hillside. Anyone give some feedback on both....The prices are pretty close between the 2 of them.

I've got a hillside, good quality leather, stitching, zipper and lining. I got it in dark brown that's why I went with hillside, Fox Crk makes great stuff as well, either one is worth the $$.

If I lived in NC, I'd just take a ride over to Foxcreek. Just my .02

Wife and I got ours from Foxcreek. Top quality vests! We are really happy with ours and the service was awesome.

Fox Creek's vests are long in the body. If you are taller it's no problem. Hillside vests are shorter maxing out at a 25" back length.

As far as quality, they are identical. Can't go wrong with either.

I'm waiting on a leather sample from Hillside. I prefer a smooth leather over the pebbly Fox Creek leather.

I have Fox Creek chaps and my Fox Creek zippered rebel vest should arrive today via the big brown truck. Can't comment on Hillside, but FoxCreek customer service is unbeatable. A friend of mine ordered a rebel vest and when it arrived, he thought he should have bought the next size up. he called FoxCreek and they shipped him out the next size up (no charge) and just asked him to return the one he didn't want. Now you can't find customer service like that anywhere.

I had a Fox Creek but it was as heavy as my Flak Jacket and was unbearable if it got even slightly warm. I went with Vanson and never looked back.
