Anyone put in the drag specialties led headlight, wondering how it compares to Harley's daymaker? Do a lot of night riding and want a brighter light.

 

Without a part number it's hard to compare. But I went with the TruckLite Phase 7. It's the "generic" Daymaker reflector. The "generic" funny looking Daymaker is by JW Speaker.

 

I have an earlier version of the Trucklite (and passing lamps) and love it....bright as hell. IMO much better all around than the HD Daymaker.

I got this one a few weeks ago on Amazon - packaged by Kuryakyn, made by Trucklite (phase 7) and am not real happy with it. The reviews are excellent, but I just don't think it's a bright as my stock headlight, especially during the day. Thank God for my LED running lights.

 

One thing about Truck Light...when I got my LED, they didn't offer a 5" light and that's what my Blackline uses.

 

I just put the Kuryakan phase 7 on last week and holy sh-t what a difference. I do a lot of early morning and late night riding and this lights up the road like the moon is right over the fender. I think the high beam shines brighter and further than my truck. Best see and be seen investment yet.

 

You see, it seems like everyone but me thinks these are great. I'm starting to wonder if I have a defective one??
