Ok who has one , used one , thinks they suck , went for a brighter element globe.
Being my custom only has one headlight ( and I’d like to keep it that way ) Has anyone changed out the globe for a brighter one , or gone ***** to the wall and went led ?
Riding home at night , with the headlight tilted up as much as I dare without pissing off on coming traffic , Im not really getting the down the road beam on high. , But at the same time on low beam I’m not getting that nice blanket of light in front of me.
LED for me and a headlight adjustment by the book. The proper way to adjust the headlight is to measure the heithe of the center of the headlight from the ground with the bike vertical and you sitting on the bike, then put the headlight 25 ft from a blank wall and make a mark on the wall at the headlight height measurement, turn on the high beam and aim the headlight at that point, the headlight beam should point straight with the high beam on.
Having all led in my home (don't by from wallyworld won't last a year). I was interested in buying them for my ride ,, recently there was talk of Wisamic (Amazon) for a cheap head light. So I bought one ,,
It did install easy ,, it does look cool on the bike ,, but I personally don't consider it a safety improvement .. Even aimed by the book
In the post ,, Led Upgrade some one posted a YouTube by HEAD LIGHT REVOLUTION ,,
Wanting improved night rides but not wanting to spend $350 come or go I'll be giving them a call to hear there sales pitch.
But in the end I'll probably wind up with an H-D led ,, OHIO the pain of it all
Remember opinions are like *** holes We all got one

Yeah! I got a LED Headlight from Amazon can't remember what brand but I did the high beam adjustment by the book, but the top adjustment screw came out of the fixed nut, but caught it and I screwed it make in 2-3 turns, the high beam was 6"'s from the mark I set on the wall from 25', so I was going home from local bike night with wife just rode with low beam on because in the city, but once in rural area I pressed high beam and yep as expected the high beam was up in the trees and I switched it back to low beam and a car came was coming down the road and they flashed their high beams at me so I flashed my high beam which after passing them I figured my low beam was up too high that they thought I had high beam on. But a guy on tour section said he had the same headlight and he got a longer screw and a spacer to get the right adjustment. So went to lowes but can't get the adjustment done until tonight. The top adjustment screw on my light is a 6mm, so I bought some 6mm screws that were 1/2 longer and some 1' longer just in case and 2 spacers because spring that pushes the light down seems not that strong.
Yesterday I swapped the stock H4 bulb for an LED. Waited for night to test it and it was a big improvement compared to the stock bulb in my son's bike.
