Default Leather Mittens

Can anyone recommend some lined leather gauntlet mittens? Having a hard time finding any.

Check Sportsman's Guide or Cabela's. You'll find them there.

Another option, check a Army/Navy Surplus Store in your area if you have one. The old military style mittens are ugly as sin, but really warm! And the fir on the back of the hand part will help cut down the wind from affecting you. Gotta get me a pair before next Winter.

Mittens are better than gloves for cold weather, but even they won't be worth much if you don't find a pair that are wind proof.

Langlitz makes them. Not cheap but very warm and top quality.

They're not leather, but check out mittens from Ice Armor - they're ice fishing gloves. I have the Ice Armor "X" mitts - they're the warmest gloves I've ever owned, and I've never had cold hands while riding with them. I'm in Chicago and I'll ride when it's in the 20's.

The only problem I had was the bulkiness. I actually just switched to a pair of Cabela's battery operated heated gloves.

I think I got mine from that company called "Hot Leathers". They usually have a booth set up at the major rallies. Leather mitts, with a cloth gauntlet (like Kevlar) and fleece lined. They are great for keeping your fingers warm. I usually wear thin wool gloves inside them.

Update* I just checked the Hot Leathers website and they are not made by them apparently, none listed. Although I'm pretty sure I bought them from one of those bike week vendors that sell t-shirts, jackets, gloves...etc that sell under the big yellow tent. I'll try and remember the name.
