Default Harley Davidson Ride Planner

Anybody have any success using the HD Ride Planner and downloading it to your GPS? I mapped out a ride last night and synced it to the GPS but can't seem to find it on there anywhere....

Personally I think that the HD planner is a pretty janky program, so Im sticking with a google map printout and yellow highlighter with my phone and an old garmin as a backup.

Screw that crap. I guess I'm too old school, don't really care for that stuff. I'll go on google maps and plan out a route and just remember it.

I use BaseCamp. I never had luck with HD Ride Planner. Either it wasnt work, wouldnt sync properly with the zumo660 or I couldnt change my route to the roads that I wanted to take. BaseCamp takes a little getting used to and very rustrating hours trying to get it to do what you want it to do at first, but once you learn the bacis and learn what you need to do on it, it works great. Only issue I have with BaseCamp is when somebody sends me a route and the route was created on a different map series it is not able to make the route on the map I have since its saying the road dosent exists. Mind you I have the most currect Garmin map pack. When I go ride the route, it ends up losing me and I get turned around lol.

I suggest learning how to use Base Camp and using HD Ride Planner for some rides users post.

I use it and put the GPX file on my music stick and import it from there/ Destinations are :waypoints. ONce you figure out their way of dong things it worked well for me.

I like the idea of Basecap. Offline planning and Garmin has always been my GPS of choice before the Ultra. Gonna give it a roll. I am destination oriented so I use GPS a lot to find places I need to go.
