Definitive answer requested...OEM Intake Flow
Does anyone have concrete evidence proving the OEM air cleaners do not flow enough to meet the requirements of a stock motor with a better flowing exhaust....i.e. S.E. slipon? I read that the '14's have a better flowing air cleaner assembly.

Why ask us? Just take your bike w/stock air filter and a K&N/SE air filter to a Dyno tuner and ask him. Air filter materials are a trade-off; foam and oiled gauze will flow more air but they will pass micro particles that won't get through a paper element.

Very helpful...thank you?
Someone has to have proof, or a innerwebs link, of how the OEM setup flows.

somewhere I have seen flow tests between them. yes the oem until 2014 did not flow as well as aftermarket or SE AC.
a simple test is run your bike with just the exhaust added and keep checking your header. Then add the AC and watch the header turn blue without a re tune.
