Question rockerc clutch

h elp somebody when I adjust my clutch I end up with only a few threads up at the front when I set the cable

Am I adjusting properly I back the cable completely off then break the nut loose at the clutch inside Durban cover then move lever back and forth six or seven times then turn inside with lever against grip until it moves then back it off three quarter turn then tighten it up when I go back to cable do not have a lot of threads
