Last week a woman that works at the local dealership told us that she had heard that people now have to watch a mandatory safety video before they are allowed to ride the Tail of the Dragon.

Does anyone know if this is true?

 

Its a public road....cant see that happening.

Bureaucrats haven't gotten around to that little 'nanny' regulation yet... but give them time, they'll get to it eventually.

 

Wouldn't think a safety video is required, unless maybe you're renting one of the dealer's bikes and it's their policy.

 

That's my thought too.

 

It would be great if they are stopping us to watch a video they would be able to stop the semi trucks and get them a new route. I have rode the dragon and unless you have a heart attack or drive like it is a race track you would never have a problem.

I would figure for local rentals as others mentioned.
