Default Andrews 57H or Woods 777

Gents,
Cam upgrade scheduled for Thursday morning. Torn between 2 lovers. Andrews 57H or Woods 777?

What do you think?

Current set up is:
2011 Street Glide
103 Cubic Inch (no head work and stock lifters)
Vance and Hines Power Duals
Vance and Hines Slash Downs
Kuryakyn Hyper charger

I'm sticking to chain drive cams either way...just looking for some feedback.

Any and all comments welcome!

Usually when I'm rolling through the gears from a stop light I'm in the 2000-5000 RPM range....and both of the cams seem to fit the bill.

I mean .....that's why you cam up, right?

I think you are rolling over and working off the Q (torque) at that point....

I'm not worried about Q at idle - maybe a nice sound but not Q

Default Andrew 48

Here's what my torque curve looks like with my Andrews 48. You should have more power with a 103 than I got with my 96. I'm pretty pleased with how well the "drivability" improved with the addition of this cam, especially between 2,000 and 4,500 RPM. This dyno run was done on a 95* day at 5000 feet above sea level.

Can't give any more than my opinion and our bikes vary greatly but I put the 57's in my 01 Road King and love them but I did so because I am going 95" very soon. Sure woke my bike up. Good luck on whatever you go with!!!

Yeah, the Andrews 48 is nice. I'm sure the tune has something to do with it too. Steve at GMR is a Matertune TTS wizard, and I think he beta tested the 48 for Andrews so he already had a lot of experience with that cam when he tuned it.

The Wood 777s really need extra compression with an intake close of 42 degrees. For your set-up, unless you plan future headwork - Andrews 57.
