Went to laconia over the weekend and came home with a 2014 heritage. The question being is it too early to dump trans fluid and put in redline shock or wait a while. I am having trouble finding netruel and think it may help????????????
Thanks

I would normally wait until the 1000 mile service first. But that's just me and not some hard-and-fast rule. Plus, after break-in neutral should be a little easier to find. Also, make sure that during the 1000 mile service, a proper clutch adjustment is done.

IMHO it's sort of a waste of money to use synth or expensive oils during break-in. But some do it. Like I said, neutral should get easier to find after break-in and a proper clutch adjustment.

Trouble finding neutral is not in the trans any way,it's the clutch.

So how do you adjust clutch to make it easier. More play or less??????????? I'm not quite sure on that one.

Christ, I only have about 300 miles on it.

oh yea and sorry for being not informed on this stuff, just had the wrong idea.
