"New" Lemon Pledge?

"New" Lemon Pledge?
Like alot of us oldtimers, I used Lemon Pledge as an inexpensive multi-surface cleaner/polisher on both my windshield and painted surfaces on my bikes. It worked great.
A year or so ago, someone here posted that the formula had been changed and that it should no longer be used. I had a Costco-sized supply of the old stuff on hand so I didn't really have to address the issue. (I don't spend that much time cleaning my bike, so it lasts a long time.) But now I have run out.
Is anyone using the "new" Lemon Pledge? Any problems?

I heard the same thing you did, so I found something else. I now use Protect All and it works like a charm. You can use it on everything Paint, chrome, glass, seats.
You can get it just about anywhere online.

I use Lemon Pledge on my windshield mirrors and lights. I use either the Harley Gloss or Honda Polish on the rest of the bike. I had not heard about a new formula for Pledge. What is the alleged problem?
What I just read is they changed the propellants so that it is not aerosol but uses compressed gas. I read one claim that this left things streaky and dull. I have not noticed that in my home. I am curious why having the formula sprayed using compressed gas rather than aerosol would make a difference in using it on the bike.

I believe they removed the pertroleum wax when it was reformulated. I have changed to either "original" polish, Lucas Slick Mist spray wax or Meguires Ultimate Detailer for quick touch ups. The current pledge leaves streaks on my vivid black finish. I still wax a couple times a year with either Meguires NXT or Turtle Wax Black Box.

I don't understand any of this. I'm still using Pledge from Costco, yeah the new kind. I use it on everything including the black on my blue/black stock paint.
I think whoever started this rumor works or has stock in Plexus.
