led bulb for headlight

led bulb for headlight
Has anybody put an led light bulb in there headlight if so how does it do?

Good question. I'll be following this one. Also have wondered if it made a difference just changing the bulb.

I went from standard bulb to led bulb and found the light whiter and a bit brighter. Then I went to a blue tint LED which was a cool look. Then went to Bikemaster HID which was even brighter.
Now for my final swap I invested in the HD Daymaker bulb. Expensive 
but much better. I think I'm at the top of the food chain now.

Trucklites Very nice and far less with longer warranty than Daymakers. No fan. Uses a Heat sink
