Is it appropriate for a Harley rider?
Now, for today's question: is it "appropriate" for a Harley rider to wear a BMW boot? I found something that I like the look of, feel and price, seems like good quality. But it has the "BMW Motorrad" on the back (not too visible, but still...)
So, should I or should I not?

Honestly, I hope this is not a serious question. Why would anyone care what kind of boot you wear. And even if they did, they are morons.

I don't know about anyone else, but all I could afford were some Walmart boots after I bought my bike.
What you could do is use some paint and just cover those logos up; then glue some HD patches on your boots. Problem solved.
The good news is, most guys aren't going to be checking out your boots. The real attention grabber is how you look in those chaps. Just give a nice slow turn, with a little glance over the shoulder and they will never notice those boots.

Have a pair of BMW boots and are comfortable. And what does it matter what other think of them. They are not flip flops. And if anyone is down that low to read what brand of boot you have, it is probably cuz you are kicking them, or ah best that go there...

I'm glad to read these responses...
I'm a new Harley "convert" and, unfortunately, the guys I ride with are really hung up on "everything Harley". You should have seen their faces when I brought up the fact that "Harley":
- helmets are made mostly by HJC
- glasses are Wiley X (even showing my old Wiley X case that looks EXACTLY like the case from brand spanking new "Harley" glasses that one of my boys just got)
- boots are mostly Wolverine
- leathers are made for Harley at a Chinese factory
For example, just another day, when I said that if I'm spending $200+ on a quality vest, I'd rather get something like Fox Creek leathers (american made, great quality, great leather, etc...). The response was somewhat typical: "You'll regret it, you should only get Harley branded stuff, because it is really made for the bikers, and it performs best"
Oh well, I'm off to the BMW shop to try on the boots (they only have 2 pairs left, 1 in my size, and they just put them on closeout for $50 off)

I have been known to wear a Triump, or Corona shirt on my Harley. But now you made me go check out Beemer boots, Harley ones are uncomfortable for me.
