I am 6'8" tall and like the cop bikes due to the cop seat getting me up out of the hole. A few years ago, I bought an 09 FLHP and liked it ok, but I buy and sell a lot just as a hobby and sold it.
My hips have started to bother me in the last couple of years and it hurts me to pull my feet up under me on my BMW's, so I though I'd go back to a cop bike. I have been researching the 14's on the internet and decided I would like all of the improvements.
I wanted a '14 cop bike and found a brand new one with no miles. I bought it and what a difference 5 years can make!!! The floor board mounts don't drag at all, the engine is much stronger, there is a gear indicator, the abs braking system is light years ahead of the 09 and I love the saddle bag levers! There is also cruise and security on this bike and the new wheels are good looking. There are probably some other things that I am forgetting, but at any rate this bike is pretty darn cool.
The 14's are the way to go in my opinion.
