Exclamation 09 Discounts

I am looking at a 09 Street Glide and wanted to know if HD does anything to entice buyers before the 10's come out. Rebates, discounts, etc.. Also does anyone have a good idea on a average price for a 09 SG with ABS, Security and cruise? Thanks

the dealers in the tulsa area have a showroom full of 09's and with less than a month till the 10's come out, that's a lot of bikes to sell in the soft economy. so be patient, they're either going to start cutting prices on the 09's or build an adjoining warehouse/museum. all potential buyers considering an 09 now should be concerned with, hmm, i can wait a month and get a brand new year with who knows what new innovations/improvements etc. ya know?

I paid $19,000 OTD for a Vivid Black Street Glide with cruise back in April. I would hope when the 2010's come in you could get this same bike for $18,000 , but maybe I'm out to lunch.

Depends on the dealer. If the one you go to doesn't want to wheel and deal then walk. There are plenty of dealers that will be glad to shave some off the top to get a unit off the floor.

It all is up to the dealer. Some dealers want to clear their floor of the old inventory but some will not budge on price.

Battlefield HD in Gettysburg, PA has sale prices posted- $2000 off MSRP for in-stock touring bikes. Smaller discounts for the other families, down to (I think) $1000 off MSRP for the 883s.

Dealers rarely advertise discounts to capitalize on the poor negotiators. They are becomming very negotiable though so just go in and start the ball rolling. If you can't get the deal you want leave. Go back in a week or so and start again.
