Pulled all my credit stuff down to a different dealership yesterday evening...hopefully they deal a little better than the last place. I'll let ya'll know what happens today. I'll either be riding or just holding out for the right deal!
I just bought an 09 road glide that I'm picking up this week.
Made a deal for no 500 dollar setup, no 500 dollar freight, and then 1000 off msrp.
So total was 18500 and then I pay 1200 sales tax on top of that.
These guys that say out the door aren't always apples to apples since some dont pay sales tax. And some dont count the fees HD likes to add as cost of the bike.
Only about 3 weeks till the 2010 models, so I'd wait to see what's released. If nothing blows your skirt up you can get a better deal on the 09's once the new models are out.
I am looking at a 09 Street Glide and wanted to know if HD does anything to entice buyers before the 10's come out. Rebates, discounts, etc.. Also does anyone have a good idea on a average price for a 09 SG with ABS, Security and cruise? Thanks
2009 Road King Classic 18,400.00 with Anti-lock brakes, security, cruise control (included).
Added passanger backrest... out the door was around 21,000.00 including taxes, title, dealer fees. I basicly got 1000.00 off trhe MSRP. They started at 275.00 off.
Alot will depend on where you are located and what demand in your area is like. Up here in Portland, the dealership where I work hasn't received a Street Glide that wasn't already sold before it arrived in months. I'm not in sales but I gotta imagine they aren't dropping the price with that kind of demand.
They seem to be wheelin and dealin right now. The dealer i go to is an upfront straight shooter. I asked if he had any deals going on and he shot me a price well below $17k for a RG, and i mean well below.
