Just got my first harley & need tips !
Heyhey
I just got myself a first Harley ( Iron 883 2017 ) , so far I love it .
Im just having trouble finding decent price for parts online in canada .
I am currently looking for 14'' ape hangers & the longer wiring (brake clutch ..)
My question is where do you guys get your custom parts , and if it is from the USA do you guys pay alot of TAX and shipping ?

Congrats.... my tips:
get a notebook...record everything you do to your bike. repairs, maintenance, accessories, add ons, tires, oil changes, everything. you will appreciate that down the road when you start looking back at what was done when. get factory service manual and the parts manual. two of your most useful tools. I also record every gallon of fuel used. I found an app for my S-7 and use that for my bike and van.
and if you have little experience, take a riders safety course.

You think? Can't miss it, it's the size of a telephone book. I'd be very surprised if they gave you a free service manual. I think you are referring to the owners manual
