Cam Change FOR towing

Cam Change FOR towing
My gal wants to pull a small trailer with her 140 lb shephard. The trike kits for a sporty add 300 lbs at least the lehman bandit and raider kits do.
I would think it would tax any motor with a stock cam. Has anyone out here done a cam change for the towing reason? Would love to hear your input.
Thanks

We have a mystery kit on my 2005 super glide. Since there is no storage on it. I got a single wheel trailer to use. Very light and handles great. You can not tell its there. No mpg change. Still getting 36-38 mpg.
I have a baker OD6 transmission with custom gearing in the first 3 gears, lower. Cams will help slightly when on up hill taking off and loaded ,but the gearing made it a lot better. Solo or just 2 up cams may do what you want. You will, most likely, cruise at a lower speed. I cruise around 60-65 mph. So lower gearing shouldn't cause a problem. You will lose close to 20% in power. Just cams won't help you that much.
