My daughter lives in Williamsburg, BTW.
Beautiful state..... Virginia. Little hot in the summer, but it's already getting colder here and riding season's almost over. Anyway, it's all good. Ride safe!
It's all good. I love Williamsburg by the way. We go there to eat at Capt. Georges every once in awhile. I got down here about 2 months ago and am just getting my shop up and running, yes it gets hot, but i'll trade that off for the longer riding season. Stop in if you get this was visiting your daughter.

No issues here w/my PC-V for my 09.
Only been running it for almost 5 years though.
Had my bike dyno-ed twice for my stage II.
First tuner didn't know sick-em about tuning.
Second tuner got it right.
Tune is spot on.
Happy with it, see no need to change.

Don't worry about what your dealer said about what other's were saying.
Remember it is what your dealer said.
It is their job to sell their product not someone else's.
Most(not all) of the HD techs that work at the dealership do not know how to tune anyway.

Sorry to hijack your thread like that. The Power Commander (although not the best tune IMO) will work for smaller build bikes. It doesn't have many of the features that the flashed based tuners do. If you are planning on doing more to your bike in the future (i.e. cams, big bore, heads etc.) i'd recommend getting a flashed based tuner instead of the PC. Some of the issues I see with the PC are some reports of them throwing codes, and sit it is "hardware" and not software you are adding to your bike , (meaning, it physically stays attached to your bike) it can go bad.

excellent point and the reason for my choice on this bike. I will only be doing an intake and pipes. I have other bikes that have the "heavy" mods. right tool for the job is what i was thinking.

I just installed a PC 5 on my 2010. just this weekend.
It had Slip on Vance and Hines when I got it.
Added a SE ventilator and the canned tune from Power Commander.
I have true dual going on over the winter, and also be adding the auto tune module.

I like the idea of retuning when I add mods. The tuner is freindly, and the bike ran solid as sears after the install.
I did have to find room to mount it , that was a PIA
But Im happy so far.
I was able to get that tuner brand new here on the forums for $200.00 Shipped
Found the Auto tuner with widebands on craigs list for $200 as well
