Default Insurance

Looking to find a Good, Better or the Best Insurance rate out there for my FXD
Just looking to see what you all are paying
For me . AIG was $324.00 per year with full coverage
Progressive $695 for the exact same coverage
Geico Ins doesn't do scooter insurance in Michigan

Just looking for some input

Thanks All for the info.

Interesting that Progressive was so high for you - I found them to have the best rate...even better than the rate my own employer (a large Insurance Co - doh!).

I have three bikes with Progressive, and I pay just under $400 a year for all three! They have a multi-bike discount that not all companies offer (including mine...which made the difference in final premium costs).

State Farm might be worth a look - they've gotten more competitive lately.

Progressive was the cheapest for me at around 350 - 400 a year. Where state farm and another wanted somewhere close to $1000.

Jeeeeeeeez!!! The bargains you guys are getting! I couldn't believe my younger bro was paying less than $400/yr on his Wide. I went with Dairyland (H-D) because they were the lowest price I could find @ $800. I'm 51, 771 credit score, and two <5mph speeding tickets (car) on my record...think I'm getting hosed, and not even kissed.

Although I hate them, Geico was the cheapest for me at $419 a year.

Right at 300 with Progressive. I have insured my house, my truck and 3 cars with Allstate for the last 10 years. When I bought my bike 2 years ago I payed for my insurance at the dealers the day I got the bike. The price was right with Progressive so I went for it. Before the year ran out I decide to give my Allstate agent a shot. No way almost 4 times as much! I talked to her again at a festival this summer and she said she could do better but I haven't checked back.

Damn, I need to shop around... my rate went from $236/yr to $483 when I traded the Nightster for the Fat Bob. I'm with Foremost. Was quoted $690+ from Progressive.
