Thumbs up 2007 Bad *** Road King - California

I know what you are thinking, "Why would he sell such a beautiful bike?" The answer is, it's time. I spent one year building this bike and two years enjoying it. It's now time to do it all again (probably with a Street Glide). I am a graphic designer by profession and I love to design my Harley's. This Road King is my best yet. I only hope that the next owner enjoys it as much as I have.

This custom 2007 Road King is the perfect combination of form and function. It looks bad ***, sounds mean, goes fast, and rides solid. This bike gets lots of attention. Some say it is the best-looking Road King they have ever seen. Lots of customization with only top-of-the line products including CycleVisions rear fender, Rus Wernimont front fender, LA Bagger extended bags, Performance Machine wheels, rotors, sprocket, and air cleaner, Klock Werks Double Back true duals, Bassani slip ons, S&S cam, Power Commander tuner, Dakota Digital instrumentation, cruise control, custom apes (modeled after Carlini), LaPera Villian seat, Drag Specialties touring seat with backrest, Klock Werks Flare windshield, custom paint, lots of powder coating and much more. I have put in lots of money, time, and love into this baby. It has less than 18K miles.

$19,000.

Sorry for the early bump but I had to add this. Came out to the parking lot at work and found she had been kissed.

(It's just lipstick. It came right off without a scratch.)

Any performance mods to the engine other than your gorgeous cosmetic mods?

Yes, S&S Cam, Power Commander. No dyno numbers though. Did just raced and beat a guy who said his scoot dynoed at 88 hp.

Out of curiosity, since the bike is black, how come you didn't go with the dark smoke 11" or 14" inch windshield?

That would look killer on that bike.

Had one (11"). It sat perfect between the bars and it did look killer. I didn't keep it because it rattled a lot and didn't do much to cut wind.

Most of my riding is to and from work. So I don't use the windshield at all. I prefer that even to a small one. But the Klock Werks looks pretty good. It is formed and curved to the bars. It is smoke and really cuts the wind. I use it on long, freeway rides.

Ahhh, right on. I just put the 11" version on my Road King and love it.

I get more head buffeting but I wear a full face, so no worries. It takes just the right amount of pressure of my chest. I honestly think the bike handles better with a smaller shield.

I hope you can shed a little light on your bags. I am looking at putting extended bags on my rkc but wondering if you changed anything on the suspension to make sure the bags did not rub on the ground when turning. Right now mine is lower 1.25 in the rear.
