Default Handle bar install wiring question

I installed KST Kustoms 12 inch bars today .. Pulled all the internal wiring .. before mounting the bars back on , I laid them on my covered front fender and plugged in all the Canbus wires and the TBW plug .. thought i would try this before mounting it all up ... Everything worked fine .. Now after mounting the bars and plugging in the connections again ( they were tight ) Namz 8 inch .. the left side controls did not work ... I swear at this time I checked the right side signal it did work but not sure .. Anyways pulled apart again and noticed two of the wired had pulled out of the one left side namz connection ... I have not function on the right side either now ... I am hoping its the extensions but I will have to wait till tommorow and see if our local Harley dealer has extensions ... I hope they do so at least I can see if that is the issue ... Like i said the left side for sure is no good ... Is there a fuse in the fuse box for the hand controls on the 2014 's ?? Any help or ideas appreciated..

Did you pull the Main fuse, before starting all that? I'm assuming you didn't because you were able to test them. Check that one, maybe. Barring any more pulled out wires, the connections might not be tight since you had to tug them a little to get them where you were trying to. My switch plugs on the throttle side came out too easy when I changed them to lighted switches; they worked, but the ease they came out with tells me the plugs weren't in all the way to lock.

Check the connector plugs on the extension cable. One of the pins could have been push back into the plug enough to not make a connection. I've had that happen before. If you have a multimeter check the extension cable end-to-end with the continuity test.

Default wiring

This may sound too simple but check the switch wiring where it goes into the bars to make sure it's not pinched.

Hmmmm check your #3, the Battery fuse. I bet that's blown. Pretty sure that'll fix it; you don't need to drive to the store for more fuses, there's a spare in place in there at #6, yeah.

Lol ;-)

This too may sound/be too simple, but are you sure you've got the connections plugged in correctly? I just finished up installing my 14'' Mayhems today and realized that there was more than one option for each plug. Luckily, I had enough wits about me to take pictures prior to disassemble to refer back to. Good luck.
