I just got finished installing 12 monkey bars on my 2014 streetglide started it up check engine light was on and no throttle response. Thinking I might have pinched a wire I took it back apart and used my ohm meter to test the harness and both sides of the green plug and bottom plug. Wiring is good all the way to base of tgs. Plugs are both in good shape with locks intact. I removed the 50a fuse as per manual before working on it. Will this cause bike to go into limp mode? I did not put much pressure on tgs. When installing as I read they were fragile but maybe it was enough to cause a problem with it. Is there a way to test tgs?. I would just like to be sure before spending the money on it and that not fix the problem. This forum is a great source of information and any help would be appreciated
I had a similar problem and found that when re-seating the wire ends in the connectors that I mixed a couple. Once I straightened that out all was good. I would double check all your connectors to make sure you have all the right wires in the right position.

Also check that the pins locked into the connector holes. If they don't lock then they may get pushed back and not make a connection.
Thanks for the fuelmoto link. I have bought from them in the past. Awesome people to deal with. Gonna go back and recheck the wiring at the plug. It matches the drawing I made upon disassembly .could a made a mistake there .Those of you that had to rewire did you find your wiring info in the manual or somewhere else? .
Had that happen to me the last time I swapped bars, it's one of the wires to the TBW either broke along the run or the solder weld didn't hold. I ended up re-running all the wires to a thicker AWG coming right off the TBW.
