Default Fuel Moto E-series

I have Dresser duals and 4" Rineharts on my 15 RGS and they are just too loud. I know but I'm old and about over loud pipes. Does anyone have E-series mufflers? How do you like them? I have used Supertrap pipes on other bikes and liked the adjustability and performance so what are your thoughts on the E-series? Thanks

Very nice, you can keep them very quiet by using more discs

You quiet them down by subtracting discs, not adding. I have the E's & I think they're great. Just did a 4000 mile round trip from WI to the Fla Keys & there was not a single time these mufflers ever got too loud for me. When you start the bike it's got a nice rumble to it, but at cruising speeds, it's just a low, mellow sound. My radio volume doesn't get set any higher than with the stock mufflers. I heartily recommend these if you want quiet performance. I'm running these with the Fuel Moto 2-1-2 stainless ceramic coated header & a tune from FM. I also have the Powervision, but have yet to hook it up. Bike has been running great with less heat. Currently running 12 discs per side on my '15 Ultra...

Not running the E series, but I am running the FM Pro Touring and they too have a nice low rumble at idle. When you get on them to pass or whatever they will open up, but not too loud for my taste. I also run the FM 2/1/2.

Hey, it was early in the morning here and I'd not woken up - of course you are correct, less discs = less noise and I am using 9

E series with SPC 2/1/2 as well as the PV. Have played around with disc numbers and settled on 11. With the duals you can play around. If stock, do not go under 14 or you will blue the right muffler at the connection to the headers.

E-series (9 discs), FM Ceramic 2-1-2, FM AC and a PV tune. As stated nice rumble at idle and nice mellow sound at cruising speeds.

Running the e series with 15 disks, as they came from Fuel Moto. Initially I was afraid they may be to loud and I'd have to reduce the disks, but was pleasantly surprised. Nice deep sound. Not overpowering while cruising, but can bark when you open it up. My lady loves them. Another question… does the number of disks affect fuel mileage?
