So I've decided to go all in and finish all the additions to my bike before winter is over. My current project is installing a set of 16" apes. My questions are, what does the crowd think of KST bars? Looking at the renegade model because that appears to be the only ones that fit my '15 FLHP. Along with that, can anyone recommend cables? KST sells extension for the electrical stuff, but I'll need clutch and brake lines (ABS friendly) I'm guessing? Do I need any kind of riser or new bracket?

 

Don't forget urethane bushings

 

I put 14" apes on my King. I used the HD wiring extension kit and the poly bushings. I used Magnum Shielding for both clutch and brake (abs) lines. Took a full day with help from my buddy.

 

Get a super riser clamp with set screws. Its no fun to be parked in a soft grass parking lot, and go to pull your bike back out. Yank hard on the bars and have them come to you.
