You could mount a super bright strobe light there to deter tailgating.

Trim it off, no was that plastic will give much support, he's just trying to sell you something you don't need.
Your bike is Bad Azz now with the CVO set-up, looks really good.

Don't know how many people have told you this but your rear end looks great!
I just bought the extended bags for my 2015 SGS. I am curious as to how much you paid for the CVO fender and how much to paint it. I want to get the fender also but trying to get it past the warden may be dicey.
Also is that an extended arm backrest on your tour pack? If so what kind? how much? and does your passenger like it a lot more?

Thanks!

Thanks for the comments on the bike. Yes love the new look of it. I think it came out nice. Had planned all this before started anything on it. Very happy.

I bought all my parts thru Boardtracker Harley at 20% off so that really helped. The paint was another story. We had come up with PPG codes but went got them they didn't match so good. So ended up with Harley paint which should have done in the first place. Perfect match. The labor to paint the bags, fender, license frame, dash vent and the front faring vent was cheap at local guy but slow. 400 and I furnished the paint.

The backrest is a CVO off a 17 limited. I have the heated hammock seat and rider backrest to go on that match. Just at time of pic hadn't gotten them put on cuz bike was out there at dealer for the install of my new wheels from PM. I got the CVO setup off eBay for a good price. The guy took them off as soon as he got the bike. Got them for under half price.
